Welcome to Firefly Lake
This is a map based in Minnesota. I started this project in FS22 and never finished. I basically started over in FS25 with new terrain data. I have been slowly creating this map for a long time. Learning as I go and adding many features. It is a 4x map with one city, one small town, multiple buy and sell points, a forested area, and lots of farmland. I'm hoping to have a beta version out in a month or so but, don't hold me to it...
Features so far:
- Multiple terrain angle
- Custom buildings
- Hidden animals that appear at certain times of the day
- Generators (wind, solar, communications) that are bought with the land.
- animated fish and ducks at the lake and ponds
- Minnesota specific signs
- Minnesota license plates
- traffic and pedestrian splines (still more to add)
- Custom sale barn with animated animals
- Extra crops: Alfalfa so far plan on adding more
- Dry corn
- Anhydrous and Propane
- Extra paintable textures and plants
- Multiple terrain angle
- Probably other things I'm forgetting
Things to do:
- Lots of detail work
- Finish decorating the towns
- Finish custom buildings
- Work on background
- Build farms

I know you don't usually respond but can you give us all an update? I know a LOT of people waiting for this bad bay to drop!
lately I have been working on the small town on the east side of the map. I added Thundr’s Row Crop System last week. I’m planning on adding a few more buy/sell points and productions. The South West corner will be more of a city or at least the outskirts of one (I have not started on that yet). Otherwise just adding replaced farms and decorating.
Awesome! If there's anything I can do to help just hollar! All I've ever done is maps as far as modding goes.

This looks like my kinda map! I would much rather work 5 smaller fields than 1 massive one. Looking forward to it!

hello Nick, do you plan on releasing the map someday or you want to keep it private for now?
Right now it’s far from finished. I haven’t had much time for FS the last few months. Summer and winter are very busy for me… I will release it when I feel it’s ready then probably add to it and fix things.

I would love to be able to test this when it is ready. It looks like a great map for co-op, and has a lot of details!
Would you consider adding some other crop types to this map - Lavender, Rye, Mustard?
Possibly, I have added alfalfa so far.
